Hannah was born about 3 June 1806 based on her age at death (23 years, 10 months & 12 days). She was the daughter of John Jackson and Amy Watson of Greenwich (later Franklin) Twp., Gloucester Co., NJ, where Hannah is presumed to have been born. She married William B. Ashcraft on 7 Aug. 1828 in Gloucester Co., NJ. She is presumed to have died at her residence in Franklin Twp.
Note: Documentary and DNA evidence indicate that Hannah was the mother of William B. Ashcraft's only child, Sarah Ann Ashcraft Campbell, who was raised by William's second wife, Louisa Ledden Ashcraft. Hannah probably died in or soon after childbirth. She is mentioned in her father's 1843 will as one of the daughters who had already received her share of his estate, even though she was already deceased. Her leaving a daughter behind explains this reference, which would have been unnecessary otherwise since both Hannah and her surviving husband William B. Ashcraft died before the writing of John Jackson's will.
