Permelia was the daughter of John Jackson and Amy Watson. She was born in Union(ville), then Greenwich Twp., Gloucester Co., NJ (now called Aura, in Clayton Twp.). She married Benjamin H. Coombs on 8 May 1828 in Gloucester Co. They had at least the three children linked below (and possibly others, who might have died young).
