MARRIAGE IN SANDERSVILLE
Mr. G. Stubbs Joins Hands and Hearts With Miss Beulah Wicker.
Sandersville, Ga., March 20 - (Special) - This morning in the First Baptist church in Sandersville, Ga., the ceremony that united Mr. G.W. Stubbs of Milledgeville and Miss Beulah Wicker of Sandersville in marriage was performed by the Rev. W. L. Kilpatrick, minister in charge.
A large number of the friends and acquaintances of the bride and groom were present, and congratulations were extended at the end of the service amidst regrets at the departure of the bride, from her native city, where she had reigned as a popular and well loved member of the social world.
Immediately after the ceremony the bridal party left the city on a short visit to friends in Macon, where they arrived on Wednesday afternoon.
Among the attendants at the marriage were Ms. Sam Dorsey of Macon and Miss Annie Wicker, sister of the bride.
Mr. Stubbs has, until recently, been a resident of Macon and has been engaged for several years at the Central railroad machine shop, where he has worked up to a high standard of superiority in his trade. He is at present proprietor of the Milledgeville Machine Works, he having permanently located there and is at the head of a flourishing business.
Mr. and Mrs. Stubbs will, in a few days, return to their new home in Milledgeville from Macon.
