Blucher Wicker Died Last Saturday Night
Mr. Blucher Wicker, eldest son of the late Mr. John B. Wicker and Mrs. Georgia Wicker, died at his farm a few miles from Sandersville last Saturday night after an illness of several days, aged about seventy years. He had been engaged in farming all his life, and for many years lived beyond Buffalo Creek near Oconee, but more recently had lived near Riddleville. He is survived by his wife and several children, three brothers, Mr. Thos. A. Wicker, Mr. George Wicker, Mr. Lee Warthen Wicker; five sisters, Mrs. W.O. Donovan, Sr., Mrs. G.W. Stubbs, Mrs. J.G. Tyler, Miss Annie Wicker, and Miss Julia Wicker. The burial took place Sunday afternoon at Brownwood cemetery in west Sandersville.
