Mr. Herschel Wicker Died Sunday Last
Mr. Hershcel Wicker, age 66, died at Rawlings Sanitarium in this city Sunday morning last. Interment was in the Wicker lot in the City Cemetery. Rev. E.G. Orahood, pastor of the Christian church, of which Mr. Wicker was a member, officiated at the funeral which was held at the home of Mrs. Joe Tyler, of Sandersville, a sister of the deceased.
Mr. Wicker was born and reared in this county, where he lived during life and at the time of his death resided near the Jordan Mill Road, 93rd district, about six miles from Sandersville. He had never married.
He is survived by three brothers: Messrs. T.A. Wicker, Sandersville; Geo. Wicker of Florida and Lee Wicker of Asheville, N.C.; five sisters: Mrs. Joe Tyler, Sandersville; Mrs. W.O. Donovan, Sr., Misses Julia and Annie Wicker, Vidalia; Mrs. E.W. Stubbs, Ashburn, Ga.
