George W. Stubbs Buried Sunday
Mr. George W. Stubbs of Ashburn, Ga., died in the sanitarium at Plains last Friday after an illness of two months or more, aged sixty-four years. The funeral services were held at Ashburn and the body was brought to Sandersville for burial which took place in the city cemetery at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
Several years ago, Mr. Stubbs was united in marriage to Miss Beulah Wicker of this city, and is survived by his widow and one daughter, Miss Mary Julia Stubbs, and a number of family connections. For several years the family made their home in Louisiana, but for some time past have been living in south Georgia.
