|K Hancock||Thanks! Sims Cemetery|
I am a descendant of Martin C. Sims & Clarissa Franklin Sims. I am also a descendant of Benjamin F. Howk & Judie Gillespie Howk. Thank you so very much for documenting all of their monuments at Sims Cemetery. It means so much. I have been able to link their children's monuments to their parents monuments. Yours, Kyle Hancock

|Nancy||Andrew Leming's Wives/Children|
Location: Decatur, Illinois (Macon County)
Your information concerning Andrew Leming's wives/children is incorrect. His first wife (the round tombstone) was Katie Nicholson born 1873, died 1909. They were married in 1904 in Decatur.
His second wife (the rectangular tombstone) was Katie Finley, born 1893, died 1944. They were married in 1911 in Decatur. Andrew's only daughter was Grace, born 1912, died 1982.
Technically, both his wives were named Katherine but they both always went by Katie.
Your information for Katie Finley's parents (James and Agnes) is correct, but her brother James Finley died in 1936 in Leavenworth, Kansas in the United States Penitentiary there.
Thank you for your time.

|Linda J. Morris||Isley|
I have no idea how old you are but...there was a movie star named Jennifer Jones, her real name was Phyliss Isley. The reason I have researched them is..I have a 5th Great Grandfather named Schnepp in Ohio whose 3 children married 3 of Conrad Isley's children. So in order to do the complete tree, I had to do Conrads too. Conrad was a veteran of the Rev War is how it looks but I have not checked with the DAR.

I WAS DOING SOME RESEARCH ON MY HUSBANDS COUSIN AND FOUND THAT VERNON'S BODY HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM MACKVILLE CEM IN ATWOOD IL TO THE STAR OF HOPE MAUSOLEUM IN GRACELAND CEM IN DECATUR IL.
I SUSPECT HIS WIFE HAD HIM MOVED AFTER HIS FATHER DIED.
I TELEPHONED THE CEMETERY AND THEY VERIFIED IT.
WOULD YOU MAKE A NOTE OF THAT IN HIS MEMORIAL.
