Peggy Lou Bennett, 63, Battletown, died September 15, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Bennett is survived by her husband, Garry “Bean” Bennett; four children, Eric Wendell (Faye) Hardesty, Rhodelia, Charles Richard (Melissa) Hardesty, Battletown, Shelia Annette (Steve) Brown, Bowling Green, and Dee (Kelly) Brown, Brandenburg; a sister, Regina (John) Hayes, Payneville; two brothers, Phillip (Gayle) Hardesty, Ekron, and Perry Hardesty, Shepherdsville; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held September 18, from the chapel of Hager Funeral Home. Burial was in Parr-Frans Cemetery.
