Mr. Hardesty was preceded in death by 1 sister, Dorisey Keith, and 2 brothers, James and Glenn Hardesty. He is survived by his mother, Marie Hardesty, Battletown; 6 sisters, Janet Curl, Peggy Bennett and Erma Hardesty, all of Battletown; Sue Moss, Indiana, Regina Hayes, Payneville, and Joy Meeks, Irvington; 2 brothers, Perry Hardesty, Battletown, and Phillip Hardesty, Ekron; a special nephew, Doug Hardesty, Battletown, and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held December 11 from the chapel of Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert Abel officiating.
