Johnnie Keith Hardesty, 47, Battletown, died December 8, 1999, at Harrison County Hospital, Corydon, IN. He was born June 5, 1952, the son of the late Verlin Anthony and Marie Allen Hardesty. Mr. Hardesty was preceded in death by 1 sister, Dorisey Keith, and 2 brothers, James and Glenn Hardesty. He is survived by his mother, Marie Hardesty, Battletown; 6 sisters, Janet Curl, Peggy Bennett and Erma Hardesty, all of Battletown; Sue Moss, Indiana, Regina Hayes, Payneville, and Joy Meeks, Irvington; 2 brothers, Perry Hardesty, Battletown, and Phillip Hardesty, Ekron; a special nephew, Doug Hardesty, Battletown, and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held December 11 from the chapel of Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert Abel officiating.
