Janet Mae Hardesty Curl, 64, Vine Grove, died Nov 23, 2004, at her residence. She was born Oct 9, 1940, the daughter of Verlin Anthony and Beatrice Marie Allen Hardesty.
She was a member of Ekron Full Gospel Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Curl Sr and a special friend Jim Oelze.
Mrs Curl is survived by 6 children, Karen (Alfred) Warren, Sande Oelze and J.J. Lacefield, all of Wine Grove, Kenneth R. (Cindi) Curl Jr. and Tommy Curl, all of Brandenburg, and Kimberly (Jim) Vessels, Midway; two brothers, Phillip Hardesty, Ekron and Perry Hardesty, Corydon, Ind. 3 sisters, Peggy Bennett, Battletown, Joy Meeks, Irvington and Regina Hayes, Payneville; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Nov. 27 from the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Rev Eric Bolin officiating. Burial was in Parr-Frans Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Robbie Bohannon, Brian Bohannon, Bernie Hardesty, Justin Curl, Aaron Stull, Chris Singleton, Derrick Oelze and Todd Oelze. (Meade Co Messenger)
