Mrs. Doriesey Jean Keith, of the Wolf Creek Community, Battletown, KY, died Friday, May 6, 1988, at her residence.
She was born April 15, 1943, Meade Co. KY., a daughter of Beatrice Marie (Allen) Hardesty of Battletown and the late Verlan Anthony Hardesty.
She leaves her husband, Calvin Russell Keith; 5 children, Mrs Rocky (Benita) Bennett of Concordia, Ky., Mrs. Glenn (Judy) Staples and Terry Lynn Keith, both of Paynevill, KY., Miss Calvina Keith of Battletown, and Wesley Bryan Keith of Guston, KY 6 sisters, Mrs. Janet Curl, and Mrs. Regina Hayes, both of Payneville, Mrs Peggy Hayes, Mrs Sue Jantzen, Mrs Joy Meeks and Miss Erma Hardesty, all of Battletown. 3 brothers, Phillip Hardesty of Garrett, KY Johnny Hardesty of Battletown, and Perry Hardesty of Brandenburg, KY and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 pm Monday, May 9, from the chapel of Jenkins Funeral Home with Bro. D.A.Osborne officiating. Burial was in Parr Cemetery directed by Jenkins Funeral Home of Brandenburg. (Meade Co Messenger)
