Joy Meeks, 44, Irvington, died July 15, 2006, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, She was born June 22, 1962, the daughter of Verlin Anthony and Beatrice Marie Allen Hardesty.
Mrs. Meeks is survived by her husband, Kenneth Meeks, Irvington, 2 children, Greg Meeks and Renea Meeks, both of Irvington; two brothers, Phillip Hardesty, Ekron, and Perry Hardesty, Louisville, 2 sisters, Peggy Bennett, Battletown and Regina Hayes, Payneville; and 2 special nephews, Tyler Hardesty and Doug Hardesty both of Louisville.
Funeral services were held July 18 from the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Rev. Stewart Skaggs officiating. Burial was in Parr-Frans Cemetery, Wolf Creek. Pallbearers were Doug Hardesty, Greg Meeks, Austin Dillow, Ronnie Meeks Jr., Johnny Dunn and Kelly Brown (Meade County Messenger)
