Mack Richardson was born December 9, 1907 in Clarksdale, Mississippi to Lawyer and Savannah Richardson.
He was baptised in Clarksdale at Mt. Herman Baptist Church. In his teen years, the family relocated to Charleston, Missouri where he attended public schools.
In his early years he became an avid huntsman and fisherman and continued this interest for many years.
In 1929, he moved to Detroit, Michigan and worked at Briggs Manufacturing Company and later Chrysler Corporation and retired with over 40 years of dedicated service to these companies and the United Automobile Workers Union.
He was joined in holy matrimony to Lucile Brown. To this union three children were born: Lucretia, Marie and Mack, Jr. who preceded him in death.
His immediate family and his brothers and sisters share many pleasant memories, but the most outstanding is his gentleness and kindness. His
hobbies included gardening, fishing and hunting.
Surviving family members to cherish his memories are: wife, Lucile Richardson, two daughters, Lucretia Jenkins and Marie Riley; three
grand-children and six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Jesse, Willie Lee, Bert Richardson, and Allen Henderson; two sisters, Marie Smith and Rosie Lee Blair, and a host of nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends.
