Mother Lucille Frances Geraldine Brown Richardson was born September 11, 1912 to the union of Thomas Sherman Brown, Sr. and Rosetta Jackson in Atlanta, Georgia. She was one of nine children and educated in the Detroit Public School system. She received Christ at an early age and was baptized in the Detroit River.
In early 1930, Lucille married Mack Richardson (who predeceased her in 1987) in the Church of God in Christ. To their union were born Lucretia, Marie and Mack, Jr. (also predeceased her).
Lucille joined Bethel Baptist Church, East in 1959 where she served faithfully as President of the Senior Mission, worked with the Sunday
School, Calvary District, Wolverine National Baptist Convention (representing Bethel Baptist Church, east), was on the Mother's Board
and was one of the founders of Little Friends Day Care Center.
She enjoyed traveling and during a trip to Jerusalem was baptized in the River Jordan by the late Rev. Carl D. Hughes.

Mrs. Richardson answered the roll call to meet her Heavenly Farther on Wednesday, November 16, 1994 after an extensive illness.
