Funeral Services for Harriett Keziah "Kessie" Buckner Emory, 77, well known resident of Stocksville, died Thursday night at her home following a long illness, will be conducted tomorrow morning at 11 O'clock at Ivy Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Buckner, Rev. A. J. Buckner, Rev. Edd Ray, and the Rev. R. R. Phillips officiating.

Mrs. Emory is survived by two daughters, Esta Virginia Emory Deaver, of Ivy, and Pansy Emory of Stocksville; seven sons, Jeff Emory, Ben Emory, Wilburn Emory, and Woodson Emory all of Stocksville, Lee Emory of Mars Hill, Furman of Barndardsville, and Arnold of West Asheville; one brother, Cletus Devine Buckner of Asheville; 37 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Emory had been an active member of the Ivy Hill Baptist Church since early childhood. She was the widow of John Pinkney Emory, well known Buncombe County citizen.

Active pallbearers will be Lee John Emory, Blaine Emory, J. R. Emory, Bill Emory, S. B. Deaver, Burgin Deaver, Vince Emory and Richard Furman Emory, Jr. All grandson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Carson, Clyde Carson, Norman McKinney, John King, Agie Buckner, John Whitt, Dr. Locke Robinson, John Brown, David Hensley, Jackie Bartlett, Wiley Metcalf, E. V. Webb, Lee Arrowood, Willis Norton, Grady Brown, Jeff Smith, Folsom Morgan, J. B. McMahan, and M. T. Arrowood.

Granddaughters and great-granddaughters will be flower bearers.

Burial will be in the Ivy Hill Cemetery, Buncombe County, North Carolina.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morris-Gearing Funeral Home.

Esta Virginia and Squire Jefferson Emory are buried at West Memorial Park Cemetery, the other 7 children are buried at Ivy Hill Cemetery.
