Stella V. Bardwel, 92, of Gladwin, died suddenly Thursday, March 4, 1999 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland.
Born Jan. 22, 1907 in Gladwin, she was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County.
Stella married Howard Bardwell in 1942 in Gladwin. He preceded her in death Oct. 20, 1962. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gladwin.
Surviving are one daughter, Rosemary Trumble of Beaverton; one son, Ronald and wife Joan Cameron of Gladwin; one brother, Wilbur B. Cassiday of Midland; one sister, Sylvia Nunn of Beaverton; 25 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, William Cameron, December 1981; and two daughters, Euth (Rose) Stilwell, August 1993, and Iva Bender, March 1995.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel with Rev. Timothy Verity officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery in Gladwin. Memorials contributions may be made to the donors favorite charity. Gladwin County Record dated 3-10/1999.
