Sylvia D. Nunn, 86, of Beaverton, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000 at the Gladwin Pines Nursing Home. Born Sept. 26, 1913 at Skeels, she was the daughter of Elmer and Cora Gray Cassiday. She has lived in the Beaverton area since 1950.

Sylvia married James Roberson Jan. 28, 1928 in Midland. He preceded her in death in 1945. She then married Ross Nunn, Feb. 27, 1950. He preceded her in death Dec. 22, 1987. She was a former member of the Beaverton Church of God.

Surviving are her children, James and Joann Roberson, Wilbur and Gerri Roberson, Ronald Roberson, Howard and Evelyn Roberson, and Ernest Joseph and Valarii Nunn, all of Beaverton; Duane and Beverly Roberson, and Frank and Maxine Roberson, all of Gladwin, Neil and Sylvia Roberson of Florida, and Sally and Tom Yocum of Texas; 44 grandchildren; and many, many great-grandchildren; andone brother, Wilbur Bernard Cassiday of Midland.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Stanton and Jerry Roberson; two granddaughters; one grandson; and one sister.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor David Stewart officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
