William M. Campbell, 60, of Grout Township, died suddenly Saturday of a heart attack. Born in St. Clair County on March 29, 1901, he came to Gladwin County as a young boy. Surviving him are three daughters, Mrs. Hugh Rose, of Flint, Mrs. Robert Trumble Jr., and Mrs. Art Bender, of Beaverton; two sons, William, of Mt. Morris, and Ron, of Gladwin; six brothers, Angus, George, Leo and Alex, of Gladwin, Dan, of Howell, and Floyd, of Davison; a sister, Mrs. Leo Flynn, of Flint; and 20 grandchildren.
