Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, January 19, at the home of Alex Cameron in Grout township at 10 o'clock and at the Gladwin Methodist church at 10:30 for Mrs. Agnes Raymond, conducted by Rev. Grant L. Jordan. Burial services were at Highland cemetery. Agnes Cameron was born March 9, 1884, in St. Clair county, and was the oldest child of Mr. and Mrs Alex Cameron. In 1901 she came with her parents to Gladwin county, who located on their present farm in Grout township. In 1904 she married Charles Raymond, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond made their home in Grout township until a few years ago when they moved to Chicago, where she died suddenly Friday morning, January 15, 1937.
Surviving her are her husband, Charles Raymond, six sons and three daughters, Leo and Lawrence of Gladwin, Walter and Gilbert of Detroit, Lewis, Fred, Irene, Doris and Mabel, all at home; her father, Alex Cameron, one sister, Alice in Flint, and nine brothers.
