༻✿ Joseph Stoneburner Powell was the infant son of William Hon and Cora Heare Powell, born at home in Adams County, Indiana around the Ft. Wayne area.
Gr-Uncle Joseph passed away September 28, 1893 at not even quite one month old due to weak lungs. He is very missed by the family and still much loved to this day.

Joseph had two other brothers who also passed on early in infancy: Arizona and James. Please visit James Stephen Powell.

NOTE: We know that two of the three infant boys (Joseph, Arizona, and James) are buried together near relatives. One being buried with relatives in Indiana. Finding James William Couleh Heare brother to Cora Heare Powell, we can determine now that Joseph is buried in Indiana with Uncle Jimmy via his birth and death locations. James is thus believed to be buried with Arizona. If there is any other information indicating burial otherwise please let us know through the edit tab.
