༻✿ Bessie May Powell Jones was the daughter of William Hon and Cora Heare Powell born on May 23, 1886 in Clark County, Ohio.
Aunt Bessie married Robert Holmes Jones on November 15, 1911. Robert was born August 8, 1886 in South Charleston, Clark County, Ohio.
Know children of Robert Holmes and Bessie May Powell Jones :
1) Lawrence Edward Jones born on November 15, 1913 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. Lawrence married Janet Vera Harris on August 8, 1940 in Lena, Ohio, by Rev. Manning. Janet was born April 17, 1919 in Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. They moved to Port Huron, Michigan.
Known Children of Lawrence Edward and Janet Harris Jones:
A) Garth Edward Jones, born March 14, 1943, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. Garth married Marjorie Louise Herman. Marjorie was born February 21, 1940 in Marquette, Michigan.
They had 3 children: a) Julie Louise Jones, born on October 31, 1963 in Marquette, Michigan; b) Scott Edward Jones, born on January 4, 1965 in Marquette, Michigan; c) Jones, born July, 1982 in Marysville, Michigan.
B) Dee Lynn Jones, born August 1, 1952 in Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. Married, whom to, date, and birth of any children unknown.
2) Everett Lewis Jones, born October 31, 1918 in Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. He went by his middle name Lewis. Lewis married Agnes Robinson on January 24, 1940. Lewis died April 23, 2009, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. Agnes died July 27, 1977.
Known children of E. Lewis and Agnes Robinson Jones:
A)Nancy Jones who married Troy Ross.
B)Ronald Jones;
C) Jimmy Jones (adopted).
In 1984 Lewis married his second wife Millie Jones. No known children.
3) Thelma Ruth Jones, born July 18, 1920 in Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. Thelma married Harold Eugene Yake on January 24, 1940. Harold Yake was born September 18, 1914.
Known children of Harold and Thelma Jones Yake:
A) Carol Ann Yake, born January 31, 1944, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio; married Paul William Johnson in Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. Paul Johnson was born on September 12, 1936.
Known children of Paul and Carol Jones Yake: a) Catherine Ann Johnson, born on December 2, 1965, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.
B) Barbara Jean Yake, born January 31, 1945, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio; married Thomas Richard Hooten. Thomas Hooten was born December 6, 1942.
Known children of Thomas and Barbara Yake Hooten: a) Lisa Elizabeth Hooten, born April 2, 1963, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. b) Lori Danielle Hooten, born March 3, 1966, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. C) Beverly Sue Yake, born May 12, 1949, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio; married William Franklin Douglas. William Franklin Douglas was born January 24, 1940, Athens, Ohio.
Known children of William Franklin and Beverly Yake Douglas: a) Willian Eugene Douglas, born June 25, 1965, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.
D)Joanne Yake, born March 22, 1954, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.
E)Ronald Lee Yake, born May 17, 1957, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.
F) Gary Allen Yake, born January 17, 1959, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.

Aunt Bessie died September 24, 1941 in Springfield, Clark County, Ohio. She died of a cerebral hemorrhage.

Aunt Bessie will always be loved and missed by the family. May she rest in the love and peace of God.
