༻✿ Daniel Ernest Powell was the son of William Hon and Cora Heare Powell born on July 17, 1892 in Adams County, Indiana. Within the next few years his parents returned to the Springfield, Ohio area.
G-Uncle Dan married Nellie Neff in 1916.
Known children of Daniel Ernest and Nellie Neff Powell:
1) Elmo Powell. He married a lady by the first name of Mary and and they had one son: Dennis Powell.
2) Ruth Emma Powell.
3) Glenn Powell. He married a lady by the first name of Pearl. They had one daughter.
G-Uncle Dan was divorced. Nellie married a man by the name of Harry Hursh. Nellie passed away in 1972.
Uncle Dan married a second time to Leota Belle Ferryman Ross on October 17, 1953 in Clark County, Ohio, USA. They had no children in this union.
Uncle Dan worked on the elevators for the grain companies in Springfield. They would send for him whenever the grain elevators needed repairs; they preferred not to have another work on their equipment.
He is very loved and so missed by the family. May he rest in The Lord's peaceful and loving presence.
