Ida married Sidney Irwin or Irvin Quinn (1893-1935). He was a son of Robert Quinn and his wife Lula Hawkins. I am not sure when Ida and Sidney got married, but I believe they had two childen who died young, and then Nancy O. Quinn and Melvin Joseph Quinn (1921-2008, m. Jannette Cogdell).
Ida and Sidney were living in New York in 1917, back in Charlotte, NC by 1919, in Palm Beach, Florida in 1930, and back in Charlotte by 1935, when Sidney died. Ida was living in Elgin, SC in 1966, and she died in Holly Hill, Volusia Co., Florida in 1989. Sidney is buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Charlotte, and Ida is buried next to her son, daughter in law and granddaughter at the Blaney Baptist Church, Kershaw County, South Carolina.
Many thanks to Find A Grave contributor Sondra, who created this memorial, and kindly transferred it to me, a cousin. (Ida's father was my great grandfather's brother.)
