Sims Native Dies
Mrs. Blanche McClain, 81, died at a Gibson City nursing home Wednesday June 14. She had been there two and a half years.
She was born near Sims January 10th, 1886, the daughter of Barney and Minnie Twadell [Withrow].
Funeral services were held at a church near Elliott Friday with burial in a Paxton cemetery.
She maried WIlliam S. McClain at Sims Jan. 12th, 1904. He died in 1951.
Surviving are four sons; six daughters, none living in Wayne county; 14 grandchildren; three brothers, Harry and Barney Withrow of Wayne City; and Clede, of Vacaville, Calif.; and three sisters, none of Wayne county.
