Son of Barn D. and Minnie (Twadell) Withrow. Barney was married twice, first to Ethel Bon 6/18/1931 and second to Mrs. Leota Bell (Hampton) Keen, 10/29/1959. Note that obituary indicates he was never married.

Wayne City Man Dies At Home

Barney Withrow, 75, long-time resident of Wayne City, died at his home at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

He was retired and had owned and operated a pool hall in wayne City for a number of years. Mr. Withrow had been in ill health for the past few years.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City. Brother Richard McCormick will officiate. Burial will be in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Withrow was born in Wayne County Feb. 17, 1906, the son of Barn and Minnie (Twaddle) Withrow. He attended the Wayne City area schools and was never married.

The Survivors

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Charlteen Bullock, of Tunnel Hill, Ill.; and Mrs. Utha Watznauer, of Ft. Madison, Iowa.
