Bio
Thank you to the many contributors who have added photos of tombstones and individuals to my memorials. Your contributions to the site are amazing.
Names of living family members from obituaries are not included unless approved by family.
Except in rare situations I do not link to burial unknowns. Data may be added to bio. Please do not request links.
All edit requests are researched. Names usually are matched to tombstone photos although extra data will be added to the bio. This is to avoid duplication which often happens when stone and memorial do not match. FindaGrave "rules" have changed in recent years on this. Since multiple names are now independently searchable in the married name field, they will added to that field.
You may copy my tombstone photos for your personal use. Note that I did not take all of the photos on my memorials and can't give permission for those taken by others to be reused.
Please remember that people with lots of memorials are not "hoarders" . . . without their hard work you might not find your family. Many contributors spend hours researching online, tramping around cemeteries and in the library checking out hard to find books. Your ancestor or family member might be here because of them and they may also be related to those individuals. As FindaGrave suggests, you can create your own private virtual cemetery to gather together those who are important to you.
Please stay safe in these difficult times.
