Minnie Withrow Dies At Age 89 At Wayne City

Mrs. Minnie Myrtle Withrow, 89, of Wayne City, died at 11:50 p.m. Saturday at her home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Richardson Chapel in Wayne City. The Rev. Wendell Garrison will officiate and burial will be in Thomason cemetery.

The body will lie in state at Richardson Chapel, where friends may call after 6:00 p.m. today.

Mrs. Withrow was born November 28, 1866 in Wayne county, the daughter of Mark and Mary (Bull) Twadell. Her husband, Barn Withrow, died in 1932.

She is survived by three sons, Barney and James H. "Harry" of Wayne City and Clede of Berkeley, Calif.; four daughters, Charlteen Bullock of Wayne City, Blanche McLean of Elliott, Ill., Eutha Cameron of Madison, Ia., and Emalie Ellickson [note typo/spelling error for last name] of Chicago; and a sister, Lottie Green of Mt. Vernon.
