Helen May Jones was the first-born of twins (along with her twin sister Hazel Isabel Jones), on 19 December 1912 in Minneapolis, MN, the 5th child of Richard William Jones (1873-1952) and Isabel Shear Pratt Jones (1877-1954). She married Chester "Chet" Sulem on 31 March 1930 in Minneapolis, MN. They had two children: Kenneth "Kenny" Sulem (1930-2010) and Helen Patricia "Patsy" Sulem Witbeck (1932-2012). Chet died on 23 February 1990, and Helen died 5 April 1996 in Winter Haven, FL at the age of 83. She and Chet are buried at Glen Haven Memorial Garden in Crystal, MN.
