Place of Death MPLS, MN.∼John Kenneth "Kenny" Jones was born 10 July 1909 in Minneapolis, MN, the third son of Richard William Jones (1873-1952) and Isabel Shear Pratt Jones (1877-1954). He married Dorothy Brekke (1913-1993) on 15 September 1934. They had three daughters and one son. He succumbed to congestive heart failure on 29 May 1984 at the age of 74, and was interred at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; son, Thomas; daughters, Mrs. Lyle (Sandra) Johnson, Mrs. Donn (Sharon) Harris & Mrs. Thomas (Mary Ellen) Madsen; 13 grandchildren; brother William H.; sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Pitts, Mrs. James (Hazel) Ford, Mrs. Chester (Helen) Sulem & Mrs. Howard (Florence) Clemens; 4 nephews & 5 nieces.
Services Friday, June 1, 1:00 p.m. at Lyndale United Church of Christ, 31st Street & Aldrich Avenue South. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis.
Friends may call 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Avenue South, and one hour before services at church. Memorials preferred to the church. Khurum Lodge Masonic services, 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
