Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. J.P. Quattlebaum, and the Rev. Herman Matthews officiating. Interment was in the E.F. Allmond Family Cemetery with Frank Murchison Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were: Charles Hamilton, Kenneth Hamilton, Louie Calhoun, Roy Calhoun, J.H. Memory, and Charles Gillis.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Kermit L. Frost of Lyons, two sons, E.R. Allmond, Jr., and Quay Allmond, both of Vidalia, five sisters, Mrs. S.W. Hamilton of Vidalia, Mrs. A.E. Calhoun of Tarrytown, Mrs. N.L. Williams of Vidalia, Mrs. Tom Hilton of Dublin, Mrs. James Williams of Hinsdale, Ill.; two brothers, Herbert Memory, Jacksonville, Fla., and Hilton Memory, Kibbee.
