The native and lifelong resident of Montgomery County was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Kibbee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hilton.
Survivors include one sister, Agnes Memory Calhoun, Tarrytown; one brother, Thomas Herbert Memory, Jacksonville, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 2, 1999 at 3:00 p.m. in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with the Reverend Pat Quattlebaum and the pastor, the Reverend George Moody officiating. Interment followed in McDonald Cemetery in Montgomery County.
Pallbearers were Keith Hamilton, Gilbert Calhoun, Jerry Calhoun, Arnie Calhoun, Rod Allmond, and Reid Allmond. Murchison Funeral Home of Vidalia was in charge of arrangements.
