Many thanks to Find A Grave Contributor Dennis York (# 47405652) for the following information received on 17 Oct. 2018: "Wesley Clegg YORK Lieutenant CSA was born on 03 Aug 1846 in Clemmonsville, Forsyth County, North Carolina, USA to Brantley YORK Rev. DD and his wife Mary Wells LINEBERRY. Wesley died on 22 Mar 1912 in Taylorsville, Alexander County, North Carolina, USA seven years after his wife Catherine Isabella "Kate" SHARPE died on 23 Oct 1905 in Taylorsville, Alexander County, North Carolina, USA. Catherine and several of their children are buried in the Taylorsville City Cemetery, Taylorsville, Alexander County, North Carolina, USA. It is suggested that Wesley Clegg YORK is also buried beside his wife in the Taylorsville City Cemetery. My York research of over 50 years for my cousin Wesley Clegg YORK has indicated he is buried in the Taylorsville City Cemetery with his wife and children."
