Rev. D. V. York Dies in Weston, Oregon

Rev. D. V. York, father of Mrs. W. G. Long, died Friday at his home in Weston, Oregon, while conducting a revival meeting. He was pastor of the Methodist church there.

The body was shipped to Pauls Valley for burial. Services were held in that city at 2 p.m. this afternoon. Rev. Sullivan of Clinton was assisted by Rev. Talley of Davis, Rev. Brooks of Pauls Valley and Rev. Morris of Norman.

Rev. York spent a lifetime in the ministry. He was pastor of the Methodist church in Davis a number of years ago, and held pastorates in many other Oklahoma cities.

Survivors are his second wife and four daughters, Mrs. Long of Pauls Valley, Miss Betty York and Mrs. Ben Baker of Whitebead; Mrs. Vernon Kale of Ada; a son, D. V. York Jr. of Wichita Falls, Texas, and a brothers, Bascom York of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
