Bridget Malissia Andrews, 86, rural Lehigh, died Friday at Trinity Regional Hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday at the Bruce Memorial Chapel.
Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery, Lehigh. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Surviving are sons, James Andrews, Duncombe, William Andrews, Lehigh, Benjamin Andrews, Duncombe; daughters, Mary Pigman, Dayton; Amanda Rounds, Lehigh, Virginia Grossnickle, Dayton, Elizabeth Grossnickle, Dayton; 20 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; brother, Averill West, Fort Dodge; sisters, Nora Pratt, Fort Dodge, Dolly Ely, Fort Dodge.

Bridget West was born near Border Plain. As a small girl she moved with her family to northern Missouri and back to Iowa. She later moved with her family to Austin, Minn., and then back to Webster County. She received her education at Border Plain and Widick country schools in Webster County. She married James B. Andrews in 1919 at Fort Dodge. They made their home and farmed in Webster County all of their lives. He died in 1958. After his death, she remained at home until moving to the Grandview Nursing Home in Dayton in 1988.

She was a past member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Lehigh.
