DAYTON-Nora E. Pratt, 93, Grandview Care Center, Dayton, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1999, at the Hamilton Hospital, Webster City.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Bruce's Funeral Home, Fort Dodge, with the Rev. Rudy DeRosa officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home
Survivors include sons Melvin, and Glen Pratt, both of Fort Dodge, and Marvin Pratt, Dayton, daughter Beverly Stoneburner, Dayton; 31 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and brother Averil West, Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Laura Rudy West, husband, Glen in 1965, seven children, four brothers, and sisters.
Nora E. West was born Jan. 2, 1906, in Evanston. She married Glen A. Pratt in 1925. The farmed near Lehigh until 1939, when they moved into town. She worked at the V. F. W. for many years. She was also a homemaker.
She was a Foster Grandparent for more than 20 years.
