J.B. Andrews, Dies Suddenly At Farm Home
James B. Andrews, 63, farmer and a lifelong resident of the Evanston community, died suddenly at his farm home, a half mile west and a half mile south of Evanston early Thursday, following a heart attack.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bruces Memorial chapel. The Rev. H. Milo Hall, pastor of Riverside Methodist church, will officiate.
Mr. Andrews is survived by his wife, Bridge; and seven children. They are Mrs. John Pigman of Lehigh, James E. Andrews and William Andrews, both of Duncombe; Mrs. Harry Rounds of Dayton, Mrs. Earl Grossnickle and Benny Andrews of Otho; and Miss Elizabeth Andrews, at home.
Fifteen grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Alice Montgomery of Duncombe, also survive. His parents, Mr. and Mrs Elwood Andrews; three sisters and one brother preceded him in death.
Born Sept. 2, 1894, near Evanston, Mr. Andrews attended the Evanston rural school. He was married to Miss. Bridget West Feb. 21, 1919, in Fort Dodge. They had farmed near Evanston ever since.
