SALT LAKE CITY - Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Deseret Mortuary for Frank Warwood, 87, who died May 9, 1977 in Salt Lake City.
A native of Nephi, he was the father of Sheldon T. Warwood of Orem and Mrs. Orville (Maxine) Davis of Alpine.
He was born January 19, 1890 in Nephi, a son of John S. and Ellen Taylor Warwood. He married Julia Harrington on February 1, 1909 in Provo. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. they were later divorced.
He married Pearl Seal in Salt Lake City and was later divorced. He married Stella Lewis McGilvra in Salt Lake City on November 2, 1974.
Mr. Warwood was a retired trainman for the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad, with 52 years of service. He was a member of McKay First LDS Ward. He was a member of the Friendship Club and the Sociable Club and was a professional dancer.
Surviving are his widow of Salt Lake City, three sons and two daughters: Frank J. Warwood and Mrs. Ed (Thelma) Cheatham, both of Salt Lake City; Sheldon T. Warwood of Orem; Mrs. Davis of Alpine; Carl Warwood of Clearfield; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
