John Warwood, 83, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Brand, Wednesday of causes incident to age.
A son of John and Rachel Hunt Warwood, he was born in Manti May 19, 1858. He moved to Nephi when he married Eliza Taylor in 1884 and she died January 9, 1892. In 1899 he married Mary Clark in Nephi.
Mr. Warwood moved to Salt Lake City six years. He was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are his widow, of Hollywood, California; a son, Joseph Warwood, Nephi; four daughters, Rosalind Gibson, San Francisco; Mary Churchwell, Phoenix, Arizona; Myrtle Brand and Nellie Holdaway, both of Salt Lake City; 21 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Nephi.
