BURLEY. Aug. 24[, 1957]—Walter Tracy W[o]rwood, 75, Burley, died at 9 a.m. Friday after a short illness [a heart attack while waiting for removal of melanoma from his thumb]. He was born Oct. 28, 1881. He was a retired farmer and member of the LDS church.
Surviving are four sons: Nathan [(Frances)] Warwood, Los Angeles; [Varian (Marjorie) Worwood] and Boyd [(Donna)] Warwood, both [of] Burley, and Dean Warwood, Salt Lake City; three daughters, Mrs. [Mina (Fariss)] May, Rupert; Mrs. [Minnie (Varsel) Jenks], Dubois, and Mrs. [Helen (Kent) Hale, Twin Falls; a brother, Frank Warwood, Salt Lake City; a sister, Mrs. Kate [Whiteley], Emmett, and 16 grandchildren [Kevin Warwood; Mar Jean, Maxine, and Robert “Bobby” May; Arlana, Gaylin, Elaine, and Ardell Jenks; Ronald, Karla, and Pamela Worwood; Dwight and Kenneth Hale; Judy, Trudy, and Sherry Warwood]. [His ex-wife, Sarah Annie Hale Warwood who divorced him 7 March 1955.]
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the McCulloch funeral home chapel with Francis Carter officiating. Concluding rites will be held in Pleasant View cemetery. Friends may call Sunday and Monday until time of services.
