Second wife of the late Guy U. Barnes of 63 Hillside Manor in Fall River, MA, died on a Sunday after a brief illness.

Born in Fall River the daughter of the late Alfred B. & Marie Louise (Tardif) Bernier, she was a member of Holy Rosary Parish. She was one of 15 siblings.

She was the grandaughter of the late Stanislaus & Malvina (Gagnon) Bernier.

She was the mother of William Barnes of Fall River, MA, Mrs. Donald (Lorraine) Garant of Swansea, MA, Mrs. Stanley (Carol) Pianka of Worcester, MA and Mrs. Stanley (Joyce L.) Kostka of Fall River, MA.

At the time of her death she had seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Cause of death: Cancer

Arrangement were by the L.O. Paradis & Sons funeral home at 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River.
