Albert was the son of the late Alfred B. & Marie Louise (Tardif) Bernier. He was the grandson of the late Stanislaus & Malvina (Gagnon) Bernier.

One of 15 children.

They are buried in family plots of his parents and grandparents.

In his final months he was cared for by his sister Lucille at her home on Penn St., Fall River, MA.
