I have my aunt to thank for my name, Ethel. ELLA ETHEL MAUDE saw the light of day in 1882. She, Aunts Nettie, Agnes and Barbara all stayed at home on the homestead until they were married, so I knew them well and loved them all. They were all so much fun and we spent so many good times together. Aunt Ella married Earl Hancock, a very suave Englishman. They had one daughter Gwen with whom I lost touch for years but have recently become re-acquainted with. Gwen is now Mrs. Arnold Campbell and lives in Ingleside, ON.
