ALBERT AUGUSTUS was the firstborn son of James Moore and Cecilia Pelletier. He was born in Confederation year, 1867, in Hull. He married [1] Lucinda Allen and [2] Grace Adams. They lived in Westboro and he would often come to visit on a Sunday for dinner at noon. Dad always asked him to say grace. All of our finest dishes and cutlery would be brought out in honour of this distinguished guest! Uncle Albert seemed to be the most intellectual and could be counted on to expound pontifically on all local, political and international affairs. He always wore the look of a man of affairs to me. We didn't know his family very well, although Muriel and Dorothy probably knew the older girls as they were closer to them in age. Albert worked as a carpenter for Fred Cummings, a contractor married to Aunt Harriet's daughter Eurie Pack. Albert's son Claude was a Doctor and champion javelin thrower.

-Ethel May Moore Guertin on her uncle.
