ELFRID CHARLES [Charlie] was born in 1888. He married Tessie Moffatt. After their marriage they lived in Ottawa, built a home on Hinton Avenue just off Carling Avenue. His was one of the first houses erected in that district near Civic Hospital. He lived there until his death in 1992 at the age of 104. Aunt Tess worked for Charles Ogilvy as a buyer and saleslady in the glove and accessories department. Uncle Charlie was a very good woodworker. They had no children.
