TREMONTON — Henry Clifford Vance, 78, of Tremonton, died Wednesday in the LDS, Hospital in Logan of heart failure. Mr. Vance was born Dec. 17, 1895, in Ashland, Nebraska, a son of Jason Benjamin and Myrta Wyatt Vance.

He was married to Nadine Allen on Jan. 23, 1914, in Tremonton. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on Oct. 3, 1973.

He owned and operated a farm in Tremonton until retiring.

He was an elder in the Tremonton 3rd LDS Ward, and a member of the North Box Elder County Farm Bureau.

Surviving are his widow of Tremonton; two sons and three daughters, LaMont A.Vance, Logan; Lowell C. Vance, Tremonton; Mrs, C. J. (Erma V.) Bourne, Garland; Mrs. Fayon (Lois V.) Pugmire, Hyrum; Mrs. Mirl (Wilma V.) Andersen, Tuolumne, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are one brother and two sisters, Clarence J. Vance, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Doris V. Preston, Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Lee (Ruth) Clayton, Taft, California.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 P.M. In the Tremonton 3rd Ward Chapel.

Friends may call at the Rogers Mortuary In Tremonton Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Burial In the Riverview Cemetery.
