TREMONTON — Helen Nadine Allen Vance, 87, died Tuesday, December 17, 1985, at the Bear River Valley Hospital in Tremonton of heart failure.

She was born July 7, 1898, in Honeyville, a daughter of John Robert and Helen Eliza Hunsaker Allen.

She married Henry Clifford Vance on January 23, 1914, in Tremonton: He died May 1, 1974.

She had lived in Honeyville as a child, Mountain Home, Idaho, and in Tremonton.

She was reared Honeyville, Tremonton and attended Union School and Box Elder High School.

She was a member of the LDS Church, where she served as an organist for Sunday School and as a visiting teacher. She had attended the temple often.

She was a member of the Golden Spike Camp of DUP, where she served as first vice captain and second vice captain.

She often participated as an organist in school and other activities.

Surviving are two sons and three daughters, LaMont Vance, Logan Lowell Clifford Vance, Tremonton. Mrs. C.J. (Erma) Bourne, Garland; Mrs. Fayon (Lois) Pugmire, Hyrum; Mrs. Mirl (Wilma) Andersen, Tuelumne, Calif.; 21 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 9 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral service will be held 2 a.m. Saturday in the Tremonton 3rd-8th Ward LDS Chapel, with Bishop Monte Austin officiating.-

Friends may call at Rogers Mortuary In Tremonton on Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church Saturday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m.

Interment, Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
