Obituary - Quentin Hunsaker Allen, 79, of Tremonton, died Thursday, March 7, 1985, of pneumonia at the Box Elder County Nursing Home in Tremonton.

He was born Oct. 23, 1905, in Honeyville, Utah, a son of John Robert and Helen Eliza Hunsaker Allen.

He married Idella Wood in 1925. They were later divorced. He married Yolanda Baker on Feb. 26, 1949, in Oakland, Calif.

He was a lifelong resident of Tremonton. He had lived in an Ogden nursing home following a stroke in 1973 and moved to the nursing home in Tremonton in 1981.

He was reared and educated in Tremonton.

He was an elder in the LDS Church and a member of the Nursing Home Branch. He had served an LDS Southern States Mission in 1924. He had served as Sunday School superintendent and home teacher.

He was co-owner of Allen Brothers Farms and Sheep Ranch.

He was a member of the Northern Utah Farm Bureau.

He had worked for Drapeq Egg Co., serving Box Elder County and Oneida County, Idaho.

He was a former member of the Logan BPOE.

Surviving are his widow of Ogden: four daughters, Mrs. Ace (Donna) Bybee, Preston, Idaho; Mrs. Brent (Alicia) Moon, Fielding; Mrs. Jacqueline Call, Waldport, Ore.; Mrs. Patti Peterson, Ogden; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Nadine Vance and Mrs. Elmer (Lola) Winzeler, both of Tremonton.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 12 noon at Rogers Mortuary in Tremonton with President James S. Edwards officiating.

Burial in the Honeyville Cemetery.
