ST. CHARLES — Lois Vance Hunsaker Pugmire, 81, passed away Monday, January 7, 2002, at the skilled nursing facility at Montpelier, Idaho. She was born March 20, 1920, in Tremonton, Utah, to Henery Clifford and Helen Nadine Allen Vance.
She married Oscar LaVan Hunsaker on Nov. 25, 1939. She was later divorced, and married Fayon Pugmire on Jan. 26, 1963. He passed away on Sept. 24, 1986.
Lois is survived by four children, Gary (Barbara) Hunsaker of Provo, Utah, Gaylene (Wayne) Keetch of St. Charles, Idaho, Pamela (Robert) Peterson of Bluffdale, Utah, Van (Connie) Hunsaker of Philomath, Oregon; 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 12 at 1 p.m. in the St. Charles LDS Chapel. Friends may call at Matthews Mortuary, 702 Clay St., in Montpelier on Friday evening, Jan. 11 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Interment will be in the St. Charles Cemetery.
