Marriage. March 13, 1840. Presbyterian Church Lanark Settlement. Reverend William McAlister Church of Scotland.
Witnesses – Robert Lawson & Peter Lawson.

Presbyterian religion. John Lawson & Elizabeth McLachlan are
the 5th Settlers in the Wilds of Lavant. She bears 10 children, some born in different locations because of the following movements documented:

Residence 1842 – The Wilds of Lavant, Lavant Township, Lanark County. Concession 7 Lot 3. Three people in household, inc. Christina, Born 1840. (She gives birth to five of their 10 children in Lavant, inc. Elizabeth 1842, Isabella 1844, John III 1846, Mary 1849.)
(She bears Anna in 1850 in Elmsley Township.)

Residence 1851 – Bentinck Township, Grey County, the Huron Tract. Concession 2 Lot 55 on the NDR. She bears Jennet in 1854 in Bentinck.

(She bears Alexander in 1857 and Margaret in 1859, either in Bentinck or Arran, Arran more likely for Margaret).

Residence 1861 – Arran Township, Bruce County, the Huron Tract. Concession 9 Lot 4.
(Last of the ten siblings, she bears James in 1863 in Arran Township, Bruce County, Ontario.)

Residence 1870 – Quincy, Houghton County, Michigan, United States of America.

Residence 1880 – Quincy, Houghton County, Michigan, United States of America.

Her spouse, though 2 years older, outlives her by 21 years.
