Margaret S. Gordon, 85, of Waynesburg R.D.1, died at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 1985, in her home, following a four-month illness.

She was born November 15, 1899, in Franklin Township, a daughter of the late Adam Ross Scott and Harriett McNeely Scott.

Her husband, Ewing C. Gordon, died in 1979.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the East Franklin Grange and the Morgan Township Society of Farm Women. She also was a member of the Oakview United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Harold S. Gordon of Waynesburg R.D.1; four grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Myrene Crislip of Fairmont, W.Va.

Deceased are one daughter, Virginia Inghram, one grandson, Thomas Inghram; two sisters, Mildred Moore and Mary Hohage; and six brothers, Fremont, Raymond, Austin, John, Albert and Russell.

GORDON - Friends of Margaret S. Gordon of Waynesburg R.D.1, who died Tuesday, September 24, 1985, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Behm Funeral Home, Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 28, with the Rev. Evert Hammond officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery.
